Trish Connery is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, competitor and judge based in the Los Angeles area.
Trish first became involved in dance in 1992 and now teaches a multitude of dances: West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Hustle, Country 2-Step, Nightclub 2-Step, Cha Cha, Salsa, Foxtrot, Waltz, Rumba and Tango.
She is an award-winning dancer and competes at the All-Star/Pro/Champion level on the West Coast Swing circuit as well as in the Pro/Pro Division on the United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC)circuit. She has taught internationally and in 2008 was a California Swing Dance Hall of Fame nominee.
In addition to her weekly group classes and private lessons, Trish teaches specialty workshops at various studios and is often on the teaching and judging staff at local venues and national dance conventions. Trish provides teaching, choreography and coaching services for social and competitive dancers as well as wedding couples preparing for their all-important “first dance." She alsoorganizes, choreographs for, and coaches the DanceChatter.Com Performance Class, a program designed to further the dance development of students through dance routines and performance opportunities. Trish is also adept at creating fun "ice breaker" and themed classes for private parties and corporate events. In her spare time Trish writes, edits and publishes DanceChatter.Com Newsletter, a free dance e-newsletter e-mailed out to over 500 dancers across the country.
Whether in the studio, at a party, or at a convention, Trish's classes are fun, educational, and enjoyable, providing the perfect blend of dance, instruction and entertainment.
